Fire Catcher Productions was created by Michael Arnold, an award winning multimedia veteran and entrepreneur, for the purpose of writing and producing stories of redemption and love. The Fire Catcher is the name of Arnold’s autobiography – obviously, spewing over to name the production company, and this site.
Michael, an United States Army Combat Special Forces Security Veteran of Vietnam – (As his daughter’s say “My dad was Rambo before Rambo) has dealt with P.T.S.D. most of his adult life – he credits God’s Grace for healing him from those wounds of affliction. Yet, even while carrying scars, Michael managed much success in his career as a television executive, advertising consultant, agency owner, author/writer, producer, media consultant and business owner. Most recently, he has focused his energies on writing inspirational stories for book and screen. Having released his autobiographical memoir: The Fire Catcher, in 2013, Michael returned to one of his first loves in 2014 when he began writing and producing films. Writing “The Colors of Emily’ in 2014, he soon followed with “The Reins Maker” in 2015 and then “College Bound: Window of Hope” – a feature film that Michael wrote inspired by Isabella Santiago, a 14 year old “taken” victim of Human Trafficking in Arnold’s days as an undercover social worker while in College. Two other scripts Michael has just finished are Inspirational Romantic Dramas – “Certificate of Completion” – in which Arnold calls it his best work yet, is a mix between “Love Story” and “National Treasure” with emphasis on Unconditional Love as a message. The Other is ‘Come Thursday Morning’ – in treatment and novel form. A single dad of three daughters and six grandchildren, Michael has spent many years walking through the fires and trials of life – “It’s here where God refines us, so cherish those difficult times with Praise, it’s why He provides the fires” – an award-winning sports producer, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur, Michael has also served as a Sunday school teacher, youth counselor, coach, emcee, and awards program host. Michael thanks God for each breath and seeks to serve Him through sharing his own true and compelling story along with those which God places on his heart to write and share.
Michael currently lives in Evansville, Indiana, where he enjoys writing, reading, tennis, public speaking, and spending time with his family.
